city we lit up the city. it was a washid orange from coit tower to the ferry building to right here at city hall. what can we take away from our 2012 giants? i believe we can take away life lessons. vuch teachable moments for our children and our team did face challenges and whether facing injuries or newly acquired players or facing elimination game one after another. what were the life lessons? never give up no matter how high the mountain is to climb. have integrity and conduct yourself with professionalism. did this team do that? absolutely. play with a team with unselfish devotion. trust one another and love your team teammates and in always do so have fun and it's meant to be played as a game, so for the rest of our lives i know this truly resonates for many of us. for the rest of our lives we will remember this team as a brilliant team, a team of character, a team of chemistry, and a team that ultimately clicked and we developed a short hand around our heroes and our giants experience that will always

i live in the southeast sector of the city. my impression is that we are not in a convenience zone, because there is no supermarket, excluding a 7-eleven that meets the criteria of the revenue mark. so i think it might have been answered, but i'm not clear. all of those small businesses, all of those conveniences stores, do they have to pay the $100 or they are not in a convenience zone? >> actually the southeast sector and the whole eastside of the city is served by scrapyards and existing metal recyclers. >> okay. >> so they can establish a zone there and that creates nearby what is called "nearby convenience." that kind of exempts the supermarkets. >> okay. >> so you are okay there.

the city, i finally bought a place in the city last year. i'm not going to argue the merits of the bike policy. i went to one meeting but most of the meetings are held during the day when i actually work, thank you very much. but let's get down to the issue of whether this really needs environmental review. we can argue about what's minor. we can argue about what might be major. but i'd like you to do something tonight. i would like you to realize that there's a giant project going on three blocks from your house, and that that project is three blocks away from another giant project. that's going to take away a combined almost 230 parking spots. they're going to move into the neighborhood or move into other neighborhoods. how is the city not looking at this as a whole plan, not just taking little individual neighborhoods and railroading them through. a better plan would be to look at the entire bicycle lane issues. i don't think it's major. i think it would be minor when you ask what is the difference between minor and major. minor is a bike
